Brie Larson's "favourite moment" at the Golden Globe awards was eating a burger.

The 26-year-old star may have picked up the Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama prize for her turn in 'Room', but she enjoyed the "hot and fresh" calorific treat more than accepting the coveted gong.

She said in an Instagram video: "My favourite moment was after I went back to my table after winning a Golden Globe, Katy Perry had a round of In-N-Out burgers for everybody! Hot and fresh

"I've been feeling like I'm in a dream."

Brie's boyfriend Alex Greenwald - who was seated in between Katy and the actress - was seen tucking into one of the burgers, as was their tablemate Denzel Washington.

The actress' boyfriend Alex Greenwald was captured digging into one of the burgers as he sat on either side of Katy and Brie.

Brie had earlier spoken of how she planned to celebrate with a burger.

She told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: "I think we're going to get a burger. Or cut a rug or something."

The blonde beauty has enjoyed promoting 'Room' as she has learned more about it and how it connects with different people.

She said: "It's all been so new to me and being in the cycle of talking about the same movie as long as I have.

"To find new meaning within this movie has been absolutely incredible."
