The 36-year-old retired wrestler recently welcomed her second child, a son named Buddy, with her husband Daniel Bryan - whose real name is Bryan Danielson - and has said she’s finished expanding her family, and has undergone surgery to make sure she won’t get pregnant a third time.

Brie - who also has three-year-old Birdie with her husband - said: “I don’t know if I told people, but I got my [fallopian] tubes cut out. Yep. This mama ain’t having any more babies.”

And speaking about her surgery, she added on ‘The Bellas Podcast’: “I am still a little swollen on one side … I think the swelling took a little bit longer on my right side [because] that’s kind of where they tie it up.”

Brie previously struggled for eight months to get pregnant for the second time, and admitted she wasn’t sure if it was a “great time” to expand her family.

She said last year: “We were trying for eight months, and I couldn’t get pregnant. I was stressed, and it wasn’t happening. There were a couple times that I was so late and was sure I was pregnant. Then I would get my period and bleed really badly. I think the universe was telling me something, like, it’s not a great time to have another baby.”

And before the birth of Buddy - who came into the world on August 1 - Brie had said she was keen for Birdie to be a big sister, but wanted to wait until she and her husband could take a break from their careers.

She explained: “Bryan travels all the time, [but] we were talking about it, and think it would be amazing to see Birdie as a big sister. I just have to think about my career - and does it fit in now, or do I need to wait until my husband is home more?”
