Brandon Flowers only misses drinking because he doesn't get to hang out with his bandmates as much.
The Killers singer - who is a practicing Mormon - is now teetotal and hasn't touched alcohol for around six years but he admits he misses the bonding opportunity a drinking session provides with his bandmates Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr.
He said: "I do think about it. I should say I don't miss anything, but I do. I miss the camaraderie of being with the boys."
The 32-year-old rocker doesn't often crave alcohol - which he gave up after recommitting to his religion, which doesn't allow followers to touch booze - but would have liked a glass of something strong close at hand during a recent turbulent flight.
In an interview with Q magazine, he explained: "In March this year we took off from Bogota, Columbia, heading to Mexico. It was stormy and I've never been so scared in my life. Years ago I saw a psychiatrist to get over my fear of flying and this ruined it all for me. I felt like I'd lost all the mental training that I'd gone through. I felt like I'd lost all the mental training I'd gone through.
"I could have done with a couple of big ones then!"
Brandon was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS Church) - which the vast majority of Mormons are part of.
Mormons have a strict health code that doesn't allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, coffee, tea and other addictive substances. They also have a strict law of chastity, requiring abstention from sexual relations outside of marriage.
