The 47-year-old R&B singer was due to perform at the Charleston Jam Fest concert in North Charleston, South Carolina on Friday (04.03.16), Bobbi Kristina's 23rd birthday and the day her cause of death was revealed, but was a no show due to illness.

According to Us Weekly, a poster at the venue said: "Bobby Brown will not be performing due to illness. Refund requests must be prior to entry only!"

Bobby's decision to cancel came after it was revealed that Bobbi Kristina died from a combination of drug intoxication and drowning.

Bobby - who had his daughter with his late ex-wife Whitney Houston - stated: "First and foremost, 23 years ago today, Bobbi Kristina was born. Krissy will always live in my heart and soul. I love my baby girl.

"For news affiliates to seek and obtain my daughter's autopsy report, before anyone has been brought to justice for her death is mind blowing to me. Please pray for my family."

The forensic investigation into his daughter's death last July - almost six months after she was found unresponsive in a bath - had initially been kept secret because of possible foul play and an ongoing criminal investigation.

But the cause of death was revealed after Fulton County Superior Court Judge Henry Newkirk in Atlanta, Georgia, ordered the documents be unsealed.
