Bobbi Kristina Brown has been moved into hospice care.
The 22-year-old star's "condition has continued to deteriorate" since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home near Atlanta in late January and her family has made the difficult decision to move her to a facility that focuses on the palliation of a chronically ill, terminally ill or seriously ill patient's pain and symptoms.
In a new statement on behalf of the Houston family, the aspiring actress' aunt Pat Houston said: "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, [her] condition has continued to deteriorate.
"As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."
Bobbi Kristina, who is the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was moved from hospital to a rehab centre in March, but her maternal grandmother Cissy Houston insisted in April that she had "global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive."
Last week, Bobby's sister Leolah Brown lashed out at Pat - who is married to Whitney's brother Gary Houston - on Facebook, accusing her of pushing for Bobbi Kristina to be allowed to die because of the cost of her hospital care.
A source later insisted said Bobby was furious with his sister for making the false claims.
