Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Monday (09.09.13).

The couple, who tied the knot at an intimate ceremony in Charleston, South Carolina, on last year, dined at the popular Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room in Savannah, Georgia, to mark the special occasion.

Restaurant owner Marcia Thompson told People.com: "They were absolutely darling. I asked them what they were doing in Savannah, and she said it was their anniversary and they had never been able to get in the restaurant before. The line wasn't too terribly long today."

The A-Listers joined local diners in a queue before being seated at a table for a quiet meal which included fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, meatloaf and butter beans which they enjoyed without being harassed by fans.

She explained: "Nobody made a fuss over them. I know the other people sitting at the table knew who they were, but they didn't say anything to them about who they were and that was nice. I thanked [the other diners] for that."

The couple paid cash for their $36 meal and Ryan - a former winner of People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive title - left a generous tip.

The star-struck owner added: "When he stood up and put that smile on me, I nearly fainted. He is so good looking."
