Miley Cyrus's father has warned his daughter about becoming a "bitter ole man".
The 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker posted a screen shot of a conversation she had with the 53-year-old country music singer.
The message from Billy Ray read: "You are crazy to be down. You are one of the luckiest people in the world right now. ENJOY IT!
"Don't be like me and miss it all worrying about s**t beyond control ALL the time.
"That would make you a bitter ole man and that's not cool" (sic).
Miley captioned the picture with the words: "I love my dad @billyraycyrus."
She also mentioned her dad's similarity to 'The Flaming Lips' frontman, Wayne Coyne, who she recently collaborated with on the band's remake of the Beatles' album 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'.
She wrote: "He has so many of the same philosophy's as my dada who is the most magical hillbilly wizard of all time" (sic).
Meanwhile, Billy Ray is reportedly trying to set his daughter up with a country singer.
The 21-year-old singer is rumoured to be looking for love after her engagement to Liam Hemsworth ended in 2013.
A source told US OK! Magazine: "Billy Ray is looking for someone successful who won't take advantage of Miley.
"He'd love to get her together with country singers like Kip Moore or Chris Young, who are warm and level-headed."
