Miley Cyrus's mother has filed for divorce from her father Billy Ray Cyrus.
Tish Cyrus is seeking full physical and legal custody of the couple's only minor daughter, Noah, 13, in papers filed in Los Angeles on Thursday (13.06.13) and has cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split after 19 years of marriage.
Tish is also seeking spousal support and wants her estranged husband to pay for her legal fees, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
The date of their separation is listed as TBD (To Be Determined).
Country singer and actor Billy Ray, 51, has yet to officially comment but the couple's daughter Miley, 20, hinted that she has not been able to reach him either.
In a message posted to him on Twitter on Thursday, the 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker wrote: "@BillyRayCyrus since your text and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?"
The couple's split comes just three years after Billy Ray filed for divorce, blaming their split on his Miley's starring role on 'Hannah Montana,' but he later dropped his petition in a bid to make their marriage work.
In March 2011, he confirmed: "I've dropped the divorce. I want to put my family back together ... Things are the best they've ever been."
Billy Ray and Tish have three biological children together, Miley, Noah and Braison, 18, and he also adopted her children Trace, 25, and Brandi, 23, from a previous relationship.
The actor has another son called Cody, 20, from a relationship with Kristin Luckey, who raised him in South Carolina.
