Robin Williams tried to say to Billy Connolly, according to the funnyman.
Williams took his own life in August, and had been a good friend of Connolly for many years.
Connolly was just one of the stars who came out to heap praise of Williams after the news of his death broke.
And Connolly has revealed that Williams told him 'I love you like a brother' during their last phone call together. And Connolly believes that the actor was trying to say goodbye.
Speaking to the Sunday Telegraph, Connolly said: "We told each other we loved each other. I told him and he told me many times ... I never stopped it and he never stopped telling me.
"As a matter of fact, I thought afterwards he tried to say goodbye to me, because he got very luvvie towards the end. It's fanciful, but that's what I told myself.
"On the last phone call he said, 'I love you like a brother' and I said, 'I know you do' and he said, 'Are you sure you know?' and I said, 'Yes'. Robin worried about everything."
Williams had been diagnosed with early on-set Parkinson's disease, which Connolly also suffered from.
Williams was a regular visitor to Scotland, and he and Connolly had built up a strong friendship over the years.
While Williams has passed away, he still has a series of movies to hit the big screen, including Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and Absolutely Anything.
