Billie Piper and Laurence Fox have split after nine years of marriage.
The 37-year-old actor has confirmed he and the singer-and-actress - who he married in 2007 and have two sons Winston, seven and Eugene, three - have gone their separate ways and insisted there were "no third parties involved" in their separation.
A post on his official Facebook account read: "Laurence Fox and Billie Piper have separated. No third parties are involved. For the sake of our family we request and appeal for space and privacy at this time"
Just this month, Laurence described his "perfect evening" was cosying up next to Billie, watching the TV and tucking into some homemade food, and praised her cooking skills.
When asked what his ideal night in was, he said: "Sitting next to my wife, watching telly, taking it easy with a glass of wine and a Thai chilli and basil stir-fry chicken. That's one of my signature dishes, so I cook it. But she's a great cook, too."
In February this year, Billie, 33 - who was previously married to TV presenter Chris Evans - supported Laurence at the press night of production The Patriotic Traitor at London's Park Theatre.
