Billie Lourd is relishing the responsibility of caring for Carrie Fisher's dog, Tina.
The Hollywood actress loved Tina during her lifetime and following her death in December last year, her actress daughter has taken to looking after the dog.
Billie said: "She's a dreamboat. She literally sleeps on top of me and we have a real love affair going on.
"Me and my mom have a problem of maybe getting too intimate with our dogs. We really get so close to our animals."
And Billie, 25, explained that looking after Tina helps her to feel a bit closer to her beloved mother, who is best known for playing Princess Leia in the 'Star Wars' franchise.
She told Us Weekly: "We really share that trait and I have Tina and she's my only pet and I love her so, so much. Frenchies are the best because they are small, but they have a big soul."
Meanwhile, director Rian Johnson recently teased that 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' will feature "emotional" scenes with Carrie.
The filmmaker explained that the new movie will be a "really sad, but really joyful" experience for filmgoers as it will remind fans about Carrie's death.
He said: "I felt very strongly that we don't try and change her performance. It will be really sad, but really joyful.
"Having these scenes in the film recontextualises tragically with her not being here anymore, it's incredibly emotional.
"For the next few months, seeing the fans ... process the loss and celebrate her as Leis one last time, it's going to be intense.
"I think it's going to be really sad but really joyful, I hope. She really kicks butt as General Leia, and I'm happy for that."
