Bill Murray is now a massive Miley Cyrus fan.
The 65-year-old comedian was astonished by Miley's performance during for his upcoming Netflix festive television special 'A Very Murray Christmas' as she "really delivered the goods".
Speaking at the premiere of his show at the Paris Theater in New York City on Wednesday night (02.12.15), he said: "Miley really just blew everyone away. I had no idea that she was that good, that talented."
Miley, 23, covered 'Sleigh Ride' in her own unique way for the three-hour special and she has earned herself a fan for life in Murray.
Speaking to the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column at the event, he added: "She can ask me anything any time. She really delivered the goods."
Murray's programme - which debuts on streaming service Netflix on Friday (04.12.15) - was directed by Sofia Coppola and is described as "an homage to the classic variety show" and sees the comic having to make the best of a bad situation when a blizzard halts production of a live holiday show at New York's Carlyle Hotel.
Other stars to appear on Murray's holiday spectacular include Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera and 'Late Show with David Letterman' band leader Paul Shaffer.
Speaking about concept for 'A Very Murray Christmas', the 'Ghostbusters' actor said: "I think we just wanted to see if we could have fun in ... kind of a boozy way, a relaxed way, the way Christmas holidays get when people really start to sing Christmas carols. They get relaxed and let the feeling get into it."
