Beyoncé dedicated a song to her "beautiful husband" Jay Z on the opening night of her 'Formation' world tour in Miami on Wednesday (27.04.16).
The 34-year-old singer paid a gushing tribute to Jay Z, 46, before launching into a performance of her love song 'Halo', despite concerning fans with several references to infidelity on her latest album 'Lemonade'.
She said: "I want to dedicate this to my beautiful husband. I love you so much."
Jay Z was spotted backstage before the concert and in the audience during the show but did not join his wife on stage for any of their duets.
During the concert Beyoncé praised her family and the couple's four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, saying: "I want to dedicate this song to my family. Thank you guys for supporting me. Blue, I love you so much."
She added: "We were driving to rehearsal today and Blue said 'Mummy, are we going to your work?' And it reminded me that I dreamed of this day my whole life."
Beyoncé also paid tribute to Prince, who passed away suddenly last week at the age of 57, by singing the music icon's song 'Purple Rain'.
