Bette Midler has challenged Kim Kardashian West to use her naked selfie for charity.

The pair have been trading blows on social media ever since Bette joked about Kim's latest nude picture but Bette, 70, has decided to try to gloss over the rift and join forces to raise money for a good cause.
She tweeted: "@KimKardashian Put your selfie to work...for a good cause! Donate, RT, I'll match $$ 2-1," and added a link to her charity Stages for Success, which provides money for the upkeep of auditoriums in public schools for children who are interested in performing."
However, before Bette buried the hatchet, she couldn't resist one last gentle dig, responding to Kim's "hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding" tweet.
She wrote: "@KimKardashian wants me to send her my nudes! I'll send them right over but the lighting's bad right now since she threw all that shade."
Bette's original tweet, which kicked off the drama, read: "Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera."
Meanwhile, Kim, 35, is using her new Snapchat account to respond to those who have blasted her for posing entirely naked.
In a clear message to haters, she posted a video of herself listening to Lily Allen's 'F**k You'.
