Benedict Cumberbatch's wife Sophie Hunter has given birth to a son.

The 38-year-old actor and his spouse, 37, have welcomed their first child into the world a representative for the couple has confirmed.
They told PEOPLE: "Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son."
The first-time parents also asked for privacy following the birth.
The representative continued: "We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during these next few precious weeks."
Benedict and Sophie announced they were starting a family in January before tying the knot in Mottistone on the Isle of Wight on Valentine's Day.
The happy couple then jetted off to Tahiti in the French Polynesia to enjoy their first holiday as a married couple where Benedict was spotted taking good care of the mother-to-be.
An eyewitness shared: "They were completely relaxed and didn't do much of anything other than read and swim in the water.
"Sophie spent most of her time taking naps and resting.
"Benedict always made sure she was taken care of. He was always rubbing sunscreen on her back and kissing her neck."
