Benedict Cumberbatch got his baby son christened on Sunday (13.09.15).
The 39-year-old actor and his wife Sophie baptised their three-month-old son Christopher at an idyllic church in Mottistone on the Isle of Wight yesterday.
Despite the wet weather, the couple didn't let it ruin their little one's big day as they dressed him in a beautiful white frilly gown, which had intricate mesh detailing woven throughout, according to photographs obtained by The Sun newspaper.
Benedict got suited and booted for the occasion in a navy blue two-piece, while his stunning wife opted for a white pant suit and a pair of chunky black wedges.
The pair, who tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on the Isle of Wight on Valentine's Day (14.02.15), announced the arrival of Christopher - their first child together - in June.
A spokesperson for the actor said at the time: "Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son.
"We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during these next few precious weeks."
Meanwhile, earlier this year, the couple bought a new £2.7 million home in London to bring up their son.
A source said: "Sophie wanted a break from the past and a fresh start with their new arrival which meant a new home.
"They're planning to modernise the house throughout but it has great space and potential in which to bring up a family."
Sophie, 37, is believed to have suggested the move away from the actor's bachelor pad because he previously lived there with his ex-girlfriend Olivia Poulet.
