Ben Affleck's son "thinks he's actually Batman".
The 44-year-old actor has two daughters, Violet, 12, and Seraphina, eight, as well as son Sam, four, with his estranged wife Jennifer Garner took over the role as The Caped Crusader in 2016's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', and took his role so "seriously" that his son thinks he really is the masked superhero.
Ben's close friend Matt Damon revealed on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' on Thursday (17.02.17): "Ben really took the Batman thing pretty seriously because his four year old thinks he's actually Batman. So there was this twist that none of us saw coming. We were all really excited, like 'Oh that's cute Sam thinks he's Batman', but then Sam was convinced that the FedEx guy was The Joker, because it's the same colours you know?"
And Matt, 46, also revealed Ben is now "on a first name basis" with the man who delivers his packages, because he always has to "send him away" to keep up the illusion for his son.
Matt added: "Whenever the FedEx guy comes, which is often because they get packages and scripts and stuff, it's 'Dad, dad, Joker's here!' So Ben is literally on a first name basis with this guy because he went out the first day and was like 'I'll give you 20 bucks if we pretend to fight, my kid thinks you're The Joker.' He has to send him away every day, you know, 'Get out of here Joker!' He does his Batman voice and his kid thinks it's the greatest thing ever. It's really sweet."
Meanwhile Ben - who also had a cameo as Batman in 'Suicide Squad' - will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne and his crime fighting alter ego later this year in DC Comics ensemble movie 'Justice League'.
