Bella Hadid stuffs herself with burgers when she isn't working.
The 20-year-old model has a regular ritual with her pals involving her favourite takeaway treat in order to mark the beginning of a break and wouldn't change it for anything, even though her friends love to "insult" her.
Asked what her downtime is like, she said: "Friends first, always, then burgers.
"When I am on my way back from a trip, I let my friends know my ETA and when I arrive home, they're waiting on my couch with take-out burgers. Time with them is like being back in high school, they insult me no end. It's a little slice of normality."
The brunette beauty - who suffers from debilitating Lyme disease - accepts whatever life throws at her because she believes in fate.
Asked her life mantra, she told Grazia magazine: "Everything happens for a reason. My mom has instilled it and I truly believe it. It helps me to do what I do every day, pick myself up and start again."
Bella has been single since splitting from The Weeknd last year and she feels she has put her heartbreak behind her and is in a good place right now, enjoying life and particularly food.
She said recently: "When you're happy, you want to eat and experience and enjoy life. I'm there! And I'm eating, and I'm living! And I've gained a couple pounds, but I'm good!"
However, Bella confessed she will l "always love" The Weeknd.
She shared: "It was my first breakup ... and so public. As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it's always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily. It'll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through. But I'll always respect him, and I'll always love him. Sometimes you want to be sad about it or handle it differently, but at the end of the day, you never want to burn a bridge that you've fought so hard to build."
