Bella Hadid and The Weeknd still have "a lot of chemistry".
The 21-year-old model and the 'Starboy' hitmaker called time on their romance in November 2016, but after The Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye - ended his relationship with Selena Gomez earlier this year, the pair are believed to have gotten back in touch.
And now, sources say that whilst the couple aren't officially back together just yet, they could be set to rekindle their romance soon.
One source claimed: "They aren't back together, but it could happen eventually. She is still in love with him and would love if things worked out. They have been talking and have seen each other. But it's about logistics and what makes sense and they both have very busy schedules that put them all over the map."
Whilst a second source added: "They definitely have a lot of chemistry and love for each other. It's easy between them, and they are very comfortable. Once Abel split with Selena, he knew he could rely on Bella to be there."
However, things aren't easy for Bella and the 27-year-old singer, as their hectic work schedules mean they're often apart from one another.
The insider told E! News: "They are both in different countries right now and are busy doing their own things, but still communicate. It is not serious between the two and they are not attached at the hip."
It comes after sources previously revealed the pair were in contact once again, after Abel's ex-girlfriend Selena, 25, rekindled her own romance with her former partner Justin Bieber.
A source said: "Bella and Abel have been in contact since Abel and Selena split, but they are not back together. Abel reached out to Bella asking to hang out and catch up, and she decided to see him and see where things go. She knows that if they don't date again, they can at least be good friends.
"He has expressed to her that he loves her still, and they will always have a real connection. He also apologised for hurting her in the past."
