A global celebration of Batman will mark the 85th year of the Caped Crusader's creation.
'Batman Day' will take place on 21 September, with a wide range of celebratory events and movie screenings behind planned to pay homage to the beloved comic book creation.
Fans in the UK can see Batman on the big screen again, thanks to cinemas showing movies including 'The LEGO Batman Movie', 'Batman: Mask of the Phantasm', 'Batman Forever', 'Batman + Robin', 'The Batman' and 'The Dark Knight Trilogy'.
And opening for a limited run on Friday (06.09.24), the five-star rated 'Batman Unmasked: The Exhibition' - which was previously staged in Manchester - will be in London's Covent Garden, bringing together a previously-unseen collection of original props, costumes and vehicles from the movies.
Younger Batman can enjoy character visits at various branches of The Entertainer every Saturday until 19 October, while Hamley's on Regent Street will be offering themed face painting on 22 September.
That's not all as there will be exclusive Director-Themed Drops on WB Shop each month featuring an exclusive bundle, including a Batman t-shirt and a 4K movie—alongside new, director-inspired merchandise, available only on shop.warnerbros.co.uk.
Batman's first appearance came in 1939’s Detective Comics #27 created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger.
This marks the 10th Batman Day, which is celebrated the third Saturday of September every year.
Actors who have played Batman over the years include Adam West, Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, and Robert Pattinson.
