Bar Refaeli is being investigated for alleged tax fraud.
The 30-year-old model has been accused of failing to report report millions of dollars in income earned abroad and tens of thousands of dollars in "celebrity benefits" and was questioned for several hours at the Tel Aviv offices of the Israel Tax Authority on Wednesday (16.12.15) before a court agreed to release her on $193,000 bail.
She must also seek permission if she wants to leave Israel and pay a $64,000 bond.
Bar is accused of trying to hide the fact she was a resident of Israel by living in Tel Aviv apartments registered to her mother Tzipi - who is also under investigation - and her brother.
Non-resident Israelis are exempted from having to declare income earned abroad.
The tax authority also accused the Israeli 'X Factor' host - who married billionaire Adi Ezra in September - of failing to report discounts on luxury goods and other benefits that should have been subject to income tax, such as the free use of Range Rover and Lexus cars that weren't registered to her but were provided by companies in exchange for promotional photos.
Bar's lawyer insisted she has done nothing wrong.
Speaking to website NRG, Giora Aderet said: "There is no drama. In the end, this is just a civil dispute. No-one cheated anyone else. It will all clear up soon."
