Avril Lavigne says Chad Kroeger is "on board" with her wedding plans.

The 'Here's to Never Growing Up' singer is engaged to the Nickelback rocker and revealed he is "down with" all of her ideas for the big day.

She told People magazine: "Chad is on board with all my ideas. He knows that I have my own vision for the wedding and he likes what I like. He's down with whatever I'm down with.

"We have a lot in common, so it's been easier ... He's very romantic and very attentive. He's a really nice and a good person.

"And he's very supportive of my music and my career, and that means a lot to me."

They announced their engagement last summer and the 28-year-old star - who split from her first husband Deryck Whibley in 2010 - isn't letting herself get stressed balancing the upcoming nuptials and work on her fifth studio album.

She added: "I've been very busy planning the wedding, but I'm enjoying every moment of it.

"I'm promoting my new record at the same time, so there's been a lot on my plate.

"When there's a lot going on, I always take the time to enjoy it and not to let it fly by. So I'm making sure to have fun and not let it get overwhelming."
