Ava Max says the Kardashians made social media "positive".
The 'Sweet but Psycho' hitmaker has heaped praise on the Kardashian and Jenner siblings for starting a "whole movement" where they have allowed people to speak about themselves "positively".
She said: "I love that they're themselves. They basically created this whole world of social media. After Paris Hilton, it was the Kardashians. Now social media is big because of them. I think they opened up this whole movement to talk about yourself but also in like a positive way."
And Ava also celebrated Rihanna, praising the way she "pulls herself together".
Speaking to E! News, she added: "Oh my God, she's incredible. As an artist, as a creator, as a beauty ambassador. I feel like she's just so incredible the way she pulls herself together. For so many years, but in such a classy way. I just love it. She has fun with her style, which I like too."
Meanwhile, Ava previously admitted she wants people to stop comparing her to Lady Gaga.
She said of the comparison: "A lot of people compare me to her, and she's incredible by the way, she's an artist of a decade right so you can't say anything bad about her.
"I think a lot of people compare me to her because I have blonde hair and I make pop music, which is so weird. People shouldn't compare women that much I mean why do people compare women, but I get it, it's an easy thing to do but I see myself as myself so it's weird, I gained a lot of inspiration growing up from a lot of pop idols and I feel like everyone is in me, everyone I listened to growing up."
