Ashley Roberts has a "team" of therapists.
The 34-year-old singer sought help after her group the Pussycat Dolls broke up and she came out of a relationship and realised she had a lot of past issues to deal with.
Asked if she has ever sought therapy, she said: "I have a team of peeps!
"When I left the Dolls and broke my relationship of five years, I was like, 'What is going on?'
"All my past came to the surface, so I went on a journey. I found a woman who did chakra cleaning and yoga and I started learning mantras."
Ashley has always been independent and channelled her energies into dancing and singing as a form of "escape" when her parents divorced and younger brother Jayce - who has been arrested numerous times and lives in a psychiatric unit - became mentally ill.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I felt like I had to take care of myself. My parents were a bit overwhelmed by everything and their focus was on Jayce and the divorce.
"My father dealt with alcohol addiction as well, so ever since I was little I was like, 'alright...'
"I put all my attention into what I loved, which was dancing and singing. I escaped because I focused on that."
