The 27-year-old singer recently told the story of how he lost his virginity to the 29-year-old actress and she appears to have hit back with a cryptic Instagram post.

After Joe went public with his story, Ashley posted a message on Instagram which read: "Class is timeless".

Ashley was most likely responding to Joe's revelation that he trashed his friend Jack's room looking for a condom before he slept with Ashley Greene.

He shared: "I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley. You can probably just Google it. It's pretty easy to figure out. I dated a girl named Ashley, so just Google it to figure out which Ashley that is.

"It's quite the great story because I didn't have any condoms, so I went to our drummer, Jack's room, who was my roommate at the time and I demolished his room looking for them. Found them underneath his underwear drawer. When he came home, he thought somebody broke into his room because his whole room was demolished because I was in dire need. Needed to happen then and now. Safety first, kids."

During a Reddit AMA, Joe also revealed that he has hooked up with a fan before.

The former Jonas Brothers star said: "Of course I have. Are you asking if I've hooked up with somebody that's been to one show before? Yes.

"Ultimately, I hope the person I'm into or date would like the music I create."

And Joe also revealed he has a man crush on Daniel Craig and Matthew McConaughey.

Answering fans' questions in a Reddit AMA, he added: "I have a few [man crushes]. One being Daniel Craig. I have had multiple Daniel Craig birthday cakes in my life. One was a photo of him coming out of the water from 'Casino Royale' and they made it into a cake.

"Obviously, Matthew McConaughey is one, too. I think he's the man. So, between those two, there's a lot of man crushing going on."
