Armie Hammer worked in construction during lockdown.
The 34-year-old actor revealed that he spent some time in quarantine on a construction site with a friend as he had "nothing to do" due to the coronavirus pandemic shutting down all his work.
In an appearance on Tuesday's (06.10.20) episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', Armie recalled: "I have been productive. I've been really fortunate. I mean look, the world's falling apart, it's the apocalypse, but funny enough, my buddy Ashton (Ramsey) bought an old motel out in the desert.
"It was the kind of abandoned, rundown motel, and I came back from the Cayman Islands where I was during quarantine and I was like, 'Dude, I have nothing to do'. He was like, 'Do you wanna come live with me in this abandoned motel and do construction with me?"
Jimmy interjected: "You say no, right? 'Of course not, that's terrible. I'm a movie star, that's the last thing I want to do.'"
The 'Call Me by Your Name' star joked that he would be sat at home "picking boogers" otherwise.
He answered: "Do you think I had anything else better going on? I was literally sitting at home picking boogers and seeing how far I could flick them. I was really out of options."
Armie feels that he is "moderately handy" as a builder but they he can't be "trusted" with some power tools. He added that most of the work in the motel was to do with sanding floors and moving objects.
He explained: "It wasn't anything like ... I'm not doing electrical work – look at me. Would you trust me to touch wires? No way."
