Anthea Turner Is Dating Again

Anthea Turner has confirmed she's dating again.

The 55-year-old beauty was left heartbroken after she split from her second husband Grant Bovey, 54, three years ago but, although she feels it's been a long time coming, she's now found love again with someone new and exciting.

Speaking about her new found-love on 'Loose Women' today (04.05.16), she said: "It's all really cool and it's really nice but I'll tell you what, you can't use other people as a sticking plaster. It's really nice, I enjoy it, it's really nice but it's taken me a while to get to that point."

The blonde television personality refused to reveal who the mystery man was but speculation suggests he may be Elizabeth Hurley's ex-boyfriend David Yarrow after they were spotted looking cosy in November last year.

But, despite her new relationship status, Anthea was still reduced to tears as she was pushed to open up about her gut-wrenching divorce from Grant last year.

She explained: "I didn't think about it properly, it's far worse in your 40s and 50s than in your 20s and 30s. Whether you lose your job or you get divorced, that optimism of youth isn't there. I thought I was going to lose everything, everything you work for and everything you've done."

Taking her experience on board, Anthea has now penned a self-help book to provide support to other women who have gone through or are going through the same ordeal.

She said: "One of my big points in this book is, you should never see this as a weakness, [to] be decent, [to] let go.

"Have all those conversations with your friends, talk to the mirror, but be true to the real you, not the you who is raging."

Anthea and Grant got married in 2000 after he left his wife at the time for the former 'Blue Peter' presenter, but they split briefly 12 years later when it emerged that he'd allegedly cheated on her with a younger woman.

The pair managed to work through the infidelity and kept a united front until August 2013 when the blonde beauty announced she was divorcing Grant.

Anthea was also previously wed to her first husband Peter Powell but they split after eight years together.
