Anne Hathaway imported a new electric car for her husband for Christmas.
Anne Hathaway imported a new eco-friendly electric BMW i3 for her husband, Adam Shulman, from Europe for Christmas as it is not yet available in America.
The actress was spotted running errands with the jewellery designer in his new red BMW i3 in Los Angeles on Saturday (28.12.13), even though the car isn't available in the US until mid-2014.
Adam took his $42,000 motor, which has been available in Europe since November, for a spin with the Oscar-winner to pick up groceries, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
Anne, 31, is well known for her commitment to a cruelty-free diet and for supporting environmentally friendly initiatives.
The brunette actress was presented with a calf by animal rights activists at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) after she chose to serve an all-vegan menu at her eco-friendly wedding earlier this year.
The organisation sponsored a rescued calf, called Peter, in her name.
Earlier this week, Anne left a bag of dog poop on a photographer's car after she spotted him taking pictures of her walking her dog, Esmeralda.
