The '90210' actress and the 'Prison Break' break actor rekindled their romance recently, one year after they called time on their relationship of three years and AnnaLynne, 28, could not be happier.
Speaking on the 'Allegedly' podcast with Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss, she said: "I'm very happy, I have my best friend back, so it's cool."
AnnaLynne revealed that the pair became friends again after Dominic, 46, was diagnosed with skin cancer last year and their relationship soon turned romantic again.
She explained: "I came back into his life as his friend, and I took him to his doctor's appointments and I was there with him because whether or not he knew it, I love him. One of the things he said was, 'You really love me, don't you?' I was like ... 'Oh my God. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? After all this time, you still don't know that? I gave up all my 20s for you!'"
She added that some of their previous problems included his lack of trust because previous women in his life had taken advantage of him and presumed he was "not intelligent because of how he looks".
However, she insisted: "One of the things that's sexiest about him is how incredibly intelligent he is, and well read, and prolific and a big thinker."
