Anna Faris has taken her son to visit a penguin they named.
The 38-year-old actress and her husband Chris Pratt were
asked by Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle to choose a moniker for the new addition to the facility last October and yesterday (08.03.16) three-year-old Jack got to meet Eagle the Humboldt.
Alongside a picture of her son and the flightless bird, Anna tweeted: "Jack got to meet eagle the penguin! Thank you so much @woodlandparkzoo! @prattprattpratt (sic)"
However, it seems the youngster wasn't particularly impressed by his feathered friend.
Anna wrote alongside another photo: "This was also a less-adorable expression upon introduction-turns out sometimes penguins smell (sic)"
The 'Mom' actress previously explained why they had named the bird Eagle.
She said: "Eagle, Chris and I grew up in Washington State, we love bald eagles, and we thought a penguin with an aspiration to fly might be really fun and we can't wait to meet you."
The 'Jurassic World' actor also urged his fans to go and visit the "gorgeous" zoo.
He wrote: "Anna and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I remember the awesome salmon and trout rivers, the bears, the elephants... Oh. I'm talking of course about the Woodland Park Zoo. If you haven't had a chance to check it out you really must. It's such a well run and gorgeous facility.
"Who'd have thought that 15 some years later we'd meet in Hollywood, fall in love, get married, have a baby and that baby boy would be given the given the opportunity to NAME A PENGUIN CHICK at the zoo!? I mean come on! (sic)"
