Anna Chlumsky has given birth to her first child.
The 'My Girl' actress and her entrepreneur husband Shaun So welcomed daughter Penelope Joan So last week.
She told People: "She's a really good mix between my husband and me. When she's with him, you see him, and when she's with me, you see me. She's a perfect mix.
"We think she has my mouth, but it's hard to tell. Even her eyes, they are different in different light. But she has a really full head of hair.
"I'm really, really happy. I'm just smiley. I have this new bundle of love that's now in my life. She has made my life even better.
"I'm really surprised how real it all is. What's really strange is how fast it happened. You prepare for so long, and all of a sudden the baby's here ... It's seriously the best thing. Holding her is fantastic. It's one of the more enjoyable things. It doesn't get boring at all. I could hold her all day."
Anna also paid tribute to the medical staff at the New York hospital where she gave birth, writing on Twitter: "Thank you to the amazing doctors and nursing staff at #StLukesRoosevelt. Your care and expertise are inspiring. Super people. :) (sic)."
Along with recently welcoming a daughter, Anna, 32, also received her first Emmy nomination for her role on HBO's 'Veep' on Thursday (18.07.13) and couldn't be happier.
She said: "I'm still in shock. When I got the call I wasn't sleeping because I was breastfeeding my daughter. It was neat because it was me and my husband and my daughter all in the room getting the news at the same time. When [my manager] told me, it was that nervous, happy, appreciative laughter. I just laughed a lot! It feels really great to have your work noticed."
