Anita Dobson knew she would be with Brian May "till the day" she "died" the first time the pair met.
The former 'EastEnders' actress was engaged three times before she was introduced to the Queen guitarist in the late 80s and although she was in love with all her previous partners, there was something about the musician which made him special.
Anita, 66, recalled: "Each guy that I met, I fell in love with them and still keep in touch with a lot of them, but it was that 'till death do us part' bit I found a bit hard. I thought, 'That means till the day you die you're going to be with this person and then I thought, 'No, (he's) not the right person.' But when I met Brian, I thought, 'Yeah, it would be OK, if I stuck with you till I die.' It just clicked."
Away from rock music, Brian, 68, has had a life-long interest in astronomy, and has a PhD in astrophysics.
And when he started romancing Anita - who he eventually married in 2000 - he wowed her with his knowledge of the stars on their first date.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4, Anita said: "Because my husband is an astrophysicist I'm fascinated by that kind of stuff. My husband is into - well his PhD was on dust, inter-planetary dust - so he talks in kind of ways that I don't understand. I just make the tea at home!
"But I do find it fascinating. When we first met, he named what every single star in the sky was, the whole restaurant was like, 'What are they looking at?' Of course I fell for it!"
