Anaïs Gallagher has been chosen to front a new fur-free campaign for PETA.
The 17-year-old fashion muse is over the moon that she's been given the opportunity to promote the animal rights organisation's new "No Fur" enamel pin, which encourages fashion lovers who are against animal skins being used for clothes and accessories to wear their beliefs on their collars, because she wants to be a "champion" for animals.
Anaïs - who is the daughter of Noel Gallagher - said in a statement: "Fur belongs on the animals who are born with it, and I'm proud to rock my fur-free status with this pin. Don't ever be afraid to speak up for animals - they need us to be their champions."
The sweet pin features a fox and wire motif that was designed by London tattoo artist Emily Malice and was created because PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals - want to encourage people around the world to ditch fur from their wardrobes.
The organisation has claimed that animals on fur farms are confined to cramped, filthy cages before they're drowned, beaten, strangled, electrocuted, or even skinned alive for fur coats, collars, and cuffs, while animals caught in the wild are trapped by steel-jaw traps and can can languish for days - facing blood loss, dehydration, and attacks by predators - before being suffocated or bludgeoned to death.
This isn't the first time Anaïs has stood up against fur as she hit out at Bella Hadid earlier this year after she saw photographs of the 21-year-old model in animal flesh.
She tweeted at the time: "Seeing bella hadid wearing fur makes me so MAD! (sic)."
However, the model - who was signed to Select Model Management at the age of just 12 - has made a point of urging people to feel good about their appearance.
She previously wrote: "I really wish all girls knew how pretty they were (sic)."
