Amy Winehouse was never engaged to Reg Traviss, according to 'Amy' editor Chris King.
The filmmaker was part of director Asif Kapadia's team that spent two years researching her life and has disputed the recent claims of Amy's father Mitch, who also said the 'Back To Black' hitmaker fell pregnant shortly before her death in 2011.
Chris shared: "Everyone said they were a nice couple and they got on, but she had a number of other relationships.
"We don't know she was actually engaged. I don't think we ever found any evidence of that."
Meanwhile, producer James Gay-Rees revealed Reg was virtually absent from the documentary because their relationship was not considered to be especially interesting.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Mitch and Reg might disagree with this, but there's not a lot happening in those last couple of years.
"It was quite an inert period."
By contrast, Mitch claimed earlier this month that Amy believed she was expecting her first child shortly before her death.
He said: "She was with Reg, they were going to get married.
"I shouldn't tell you this but she thought she was pregnant at some stage. They were going to get married."
