Amy Willerton has moved to Dubai.

The 28-year-old model and her fiancé Daniel Day originally flew out to the UAE last year to visit his relatives but when they were due to leave, their daughter Demelza, 13 months, was stricken by a stomach bug and they had to delay their return, only for the UK to enter another lockdown and after five months, they decided they wanted to “make a home” in the Emirates.
Amy recalled: “We looked at each other and I said, 'Do we fly back?' We were in agreement and decided to stay and, in time, we realised we wanted to make a home here ...
"I hope we will build a really happy life here. I'm confident we're making the right decision."
And Amy thinks the move will be great for their daughter.
She added: “Demy's going to grow up with so much opportunity. The schooling is very international so she'll learn a second language
"Just the other day, Daniel and I drove to a flamingo-garden lake in the middle of the desert for an evening stroll. It has the world's longest zip wire, you can go skiing and there are endless activities for young children. Everything here is possible."
And the family has already got a pet.
Amy said: "We’ve even got a tortoise called Terry. He was left behind by the family that lived here before and he’s as happy as anything in the vegetable patch."I take lettuce out to him every morning."The former ‘Jump’ contestant got engaged to Daniel in April 2019 and they originally planned to marry last summer before Amy got pregnant, but now they are undecided whether to tie the knot first or have another child as Daniel really wants another kid.
Amy told HELLO! magazine: "The only reason we delayed it is because we got pregnant. I realised I didn’t want that pressure to lose the weight and to feel I had to plan everything during such a precious time of becoming a mum. Dan wants us to have another baby before we marry. I'm definitely broody, but I’d prefer to make it official before we have the next one.
"I keep saying to Daniel, ‘Shall we just run away to a beach and get married, just the two of us, and Demy of course? It’s been very tempting."
