Amy Schumer left a $1,000 tip for bartenders at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York over the weekend.
The 'Trainwreck' actress and her boyfriend Ben Hanisch left the generous sum on a $77 bill on Saturday (19.03.16) after they enjoyed a post-show tipple with a group of friends following the impressive stage production of 'Hamilton'.
Madeleine DeJohn, who works at the theatre house on Broadway in the Big Apple, told the New York Daily News newspaper: "I was very touched, it was just something so generous and so kind that you don't see every day."
The employee personally thanked the 34-year-old star for her generosity after receiving the cheque, and the blonde starlet reportedly replied: "I've been there, I get it."
Madeleine split the large sum equally between herself and the six other employees she was working with that night.
Meanwhile, Amy - who was named one of the 100 most influential people by Time magazine last year - was seemingly enjoying a romantic date night with her beau.
The couple have only been dating since late last year but it seems things are progressing nicely between them as the blonde beauty admitted in January that she's "in love".
She said at the time: "We're in love, and I'm really proud I can take him to the White House to stop gun violence."
