iO Tillett Wright - who called 911 following an explosive row between the couple, during which the actor allegedly hit her pal with an iPhone - has slammed the "witch hunt" surrounding the 'Magic Mike XXL' star and can't understand why the 30-year-old beauty has faced a backlash over her allegations, despite apparent mounting evidence.

Taking to social media on Monday (06.06.16) night she posted three angry emoji symbols and wrote: "BULLS**T. I've had enough. I saw the bruises. Many times. And the fat lip. And the cut head.

"How much evidence does a woman need to present?! She has photos, texts, witnesses, and filed a restraining order...

"I was on the f***ing phone when he hit her. I HEARD HER SCREAM. I will testify. Here and in court. Under oath. WHAT ELSE DOES A WOMAN NEED?(sic)"

The TV presenter then went on to slam source claims published on celebrity news site TMZ and declared she would stand up in court.

She added: "But no...a neighbor asked a doorman and talked to TMZ and THAT is headline news and serves as "evidence"?! Dear neighbor - SHAME ON YOU(sic)

"This culture of victim blaming makes me sick. I'm a witness. I'm here. I'm standing up. I can't take any more of this witch hunt."

Amber, 30, has claimed Johnny has been violent to her throughout their relationship, with things culminating when he allegedly threw an iPhone at her face on May 21.

The couple - who wed in February last year - were having a "peaceful conversation" about the death of Depp's mother when he allegedly "began obsessing about something that was untrue and his demeanor changed dramatically."

The couple then called Wright, who overheard yelling in the background, and according to court documents pertaining to the restraining order which was granted on May 27, she then called 911 at Amber's request.

When the LAPD arrived at the scene they found no evidence of a crime but Amber filed for divorce two days after the alleged incident occurred.

Friends of Johnny have defended him against the allegations, while his representative has slammed the "salacious" claims.

A spokesperson previously said: "Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.

"Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."
