Amber Heard thinks the threats made to her and Johnny Depp's dogs by Australian officials was a "sad state of affairs".
The 'Magic Mike XXL' beauty and her 'Mortdecai' husband were in Australia whilst Johnny filmed the new instalment of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' when their dogs Boo and Pistol were ordered out of the country by Australia's governmental departments.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Amber confirmed the dogs were OK, saying: "They're good despite attempts by certain rogue thug Australian government officials, they are alright."
Johnny was reportedly threatened with a 10-year jail sentence, with the authorities claiming the couple had broken the law by allegedly not declaring the dogs to custom officials.
Australian Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce said at the time: "If we start letting movie stars even though they've been the 'Sexiest Man Alive' twice to come into our nation, then why don't we just break the laws for everybody.
"It's time that Pistol and Boo buggered off back to the United States."
The dogs were sent back to the United States hours before the deadline they were given by officials.
A statement read: "The dogs have been ordered into quarantine and the owners have been advised the dogs must be exported within 72 hours."
