Amanda Seyfried feels the "pressure" to have children "every day".
The 'Les Miserables' actress - who is dating Justin Long - feels frustrated by the constant reminders for women not to leave having kids until its too late, even though she thinks technological advances mean that is no longer the case.
She said: "Society keeps reminding us that our eggs are dying off, which I'm sick of. I'm like, 'I get it!'
"Technology these days man, I mean you can have babies up until you're 50 apparently. But I feel the pressure every day."
The 29-year-old actress thinks parenthood would be a "wonderful adventure" but she isn't ready to start a family of her own just yet.
She added: "Right now. I'm being careful. But it does seem like a wonderful adventure.
"My three best friends have kids and it looks like they've figured out the secret of life because of it. They are very happy."
The 'Ted 2' star feels there is too much pressure on modern women, and not just about when to have children.
She told LOOK magazine: "Being the best you can be at what you do, looking the best you can and doing your job faster than others - all these weird pressures that are put upon us."
