Amanda Seyfried saw her first porn movie at the age of six.
The 27-year-old actress - who plays 1970's porn star Linda Lovelace in new biopic 'Lovelace' - admitted she first saw an adult movie when she was a child and was horrified by it.
She told the August 2013 issue of GQ magazine: "I was five or six. Six, I think.
"Yeah. It was a cop--a guy dressed in a cop costume ... and it was the first time I'd ever seen a penis, and I remember it being very graphic ... it was so terrifying. It was funny. But it was also, like, so, so, so wrong. It was 1990 or 1991, and so AIDS was really rampant. Watching any kind of sexual acts when you're a six-year-old would make you think you were going to contract AIDS somehow."
Linda Lovelace found fame by starring in 'Deep Throat', the 1972 adult movie and although Amanda checked it out to prepare for her role, she didn't feel the need to watch the whole thing.
She said: "There's no point in watching the whole movie. It's the same s**t for an hour and a half. If you've seen a clip of it, you've seen the movie."
While Amanda admitted filming sex scenes with Peter Sarsgaard was "weird at first", he revealed he is sick of making movies featuring sex or violence.
He said: "I keep trying to, like, justify it in some way, and I can't anymore. Like, it's f****d up that we call it a job.
"I don't want to do it anymore. I really don't want to do it anymore. I've been having a whole crisis with acting. I've lost my taste for both violence and sex--in movies, in any case. To be honest, while we were doing the movie, it was fine. But in retrospect it makes me feel uneasy."
