The former child star - who shot to fame in the late 1990s on Nickelodeon but retired from acting in 2010 following a spate of mental health struggles - celebrated her 38th birthday on Wednesday (03.04.24) and now an insider has claimed she is eager to find somewhere else to live.
The source told E! News: "Amanda spent the day touring apartment complexes because she would like to move out of the apartment she's living in now."
After quitting the business, the 'Hairspray' star graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2018 but in 2022 began studying cosmetology and the insider explained that her sighs are now set on becoming a manacurist.,
The source added: "She graduated almost two years ago but didn't immediately apply for her license. She needs to practice doing acrylics and study manicurist theory to pass the board exam."
In Decemer last year, Amanda - who split from her fiancee Paul Michael inJuly 2022 after three years together - landed her own podcast but pulled the plug on it after just one episode having decided to pursue a more steady job.
