Amanda Bynes has checked into rehab after leaving hospital.
Bynes has allegedly been staying at Malibu treatment facility The Canyon for the past three weeks since her temporarily discharge from the UCLA Medical Center.
Amanda was committed to UCLA hospital following arrest for setting fire to the driveway of a stranger's home in Thousand Oaks, California, also accidentally dousing her pet dog in gasoline as well as setting fire to her own trouser leg.
TMZ is reports the actress is "still in a desperate state" with sources saying they are worried she isn't being given the correct psychiatric treatment she needs under her special hold, called an LPS.
They say: "She interacts with people very little and rarely leaves the area where she's living. Amanda is not wearing her wig and is 'paranoid' the paparazzi will find her."
Previously reports have indicated the 27-year-old is likely to remain in involuntary psychiatric hold until 2015 because of her troubling antics, which have seen her abuse fellow stars on Twitter by branding them "ugly", wearing a multitude of wigs, and throwing a bong out of the window when the police searched her New York City apartment.
Bynes though doesn't have drug related issues with sources saying "There are no drug problems involved, it's all mental. She has deep anger and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which tripped a psychotic episode... She is very ill, but manageable.
"Amanda genuinely wants to get better and has wanted to get better for some time."
