Amal Alamuddin has purchased two pooches for her new husband George Clooney as a wedding gift.
Amal Alamuddin also gave her new husband customised cufflinks inscribed with his first name in Arabic ahead of their recent nuptials in Venice, Italy reportedly surprised him with the new puppies during their honeymoon in Berkshire, south east England.
The star, already has a cocker spaniel mix named Einstein adopted from a pet shelter, and the 36-year-old beauty have barely left their new, secluded £5 million mansion since tying the knot.
The duo were spotted enjoying a seven-mile cycle around the island last week.
Meanwhile in related news George Clooney spent £50,000 on emergency flood supplies.
Clooney reportedly spent thousands of pounds to protect his new riverside home in Sonning Eye, Oxford from flooding.
The Georgian mansion located right next to the River Thames was purchased last week by Clooney as a wedding present for his new wife, Amal Alamuddin.
But despite spending a rumoured £5 million on the luxurious property, the Hollywood actor had to fork out an extra £50,000 on a new pumping system and emergency sandbags in case it floods.
Once the property is water-tight, it is reported that they will split their time between the Oxfordshire home and George's mansion in Lake Como, Italy.
The couple spent a week in their new English home as part of their honeymoon, after they got married in an extravagant wedding ceremony in Venice on Saturday, September 27.
However, the famous couple had to interrupt their romantic getaway because George had to attend a Comic Con event in New York to promote his new film, 'Tomorrowland'.
He joked to the crowd: "It is not lost on me that I'm spending my honeymoon at Comic Con!"
