Allison Janney had a "germophobe" co-star who insisted she used an antibiotic cream before their kissing scenes.

The 'Mom' actress admitted she felt "unnerved" by the request from her unnamed scene partner and she "took it very personally" that he thought he'd catch a disease from her.
Speaking on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', she said: "Even before COVID, I had a scene partner who I had to kiss with, and he was such a germaphobe, he would put Neosporin on his lips and ask me to put it on mine, too, before he would kiss me."
Baffled Jimmy exclaimed: "What! That doesn't do anything."
Allison, 61, admitted: "I didn't know [what it would do,] but I took it very personally, though.
"I thought, What does he think I put in my mouth? I don't know. It kind of unnerved me, but people are germaphobes."
The talk show host jokingly asked if she was refering to Howie Mandel, who has spoken openly about his issues with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and how it turned him into a "germaphobe".
The former 'West Wing' star replied: "You might think so, but no, it was not Howie Mandel. I will not say who it was."
In September, Allison treated fans to a glimpse at the new precautions being taken on the set of 'Mom' due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She appeared in a short clip, wearing a mask, as were her co-stars Mimi Kennedy, Beth Hall and Jaime Pressly, and said: “Hi everyone, we are all back at Mom on our first day with the new COVID protocol.
“Everyone’s here and it’s a whole new territory but we’re excited for season 8 to begin.”
