Alli Simpson is thrilled her brother Cody Simpson is happy after splitting from Miley Cyrus.
The 22-year-old model was delighted that her older sibling went public with his new girlfriend, Marloes Stevens, following his break-up from Miley in August.
Speaking to Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph, Alli said: "She is super beautiful and such a caring person so it is nice to see them both so happy. It is really nice."
Miley revealed she had called time on her relationship with the 24-year-old singer after 10-months together.
She said: "For right now, two halves can't make a whole, and we're individually just working on ourselves, becoming the people that we want to be. Like everybody else at this age, we're just deciding who we want to be with our lives, what we want to do with our lives. And so, don't make it some drama story if next week we hang out and we're getting pizza. We've been friends for 10 years, and we're going to continue to be friends. Just don't make it something that it is not."
Sources claimed there was no "bad blood" between the pair and they simply wanted to focus on themselves following Miley's split from ex-husband Liam Hemsworth in 2019.
The insider said: "They were really there for each other, especially Cody for Miley, after her split from Liam [Hemsworth]. Cody supported Miley as she was becoming more focused on her health and sober. "They're still friends and there's no bad blood. Both of them appreciate that they were able to be there for each other when they needed it the most."
What's more, Alli confirmed the former lovers are still on "good terms" but is not sure if Cody has spoken to the 'Slide Away' singer since their split.
She admitted: "I don't know if they speak still but I know they are on good terms."
