Nikki Manashe - who got engaged to the former cage fighter early last year - is constantly on edge when the ex-glamour model appears as a weekly panellist on the lunchtime show because she fears she'll start spouting off intimate details about their failed two-year marriage in front of the nation.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the Asian Awards held at Grosvenor House in London on Friday night (08.04.16), Nikki said: "I do [get nervous every time Katie appears on 'Loose Women'. To be honest I think she needs to let bygones be bygones. She needs to let us live our lives and she can live her life. I wish her well. I don't know her, I don't need to know her, and I'm very happy and that's that.
"Being in a normal relationship with a non-celebrity you wouldn't have an ex keep bringing stuff up, it's very difficult for me. I wish people would just let things rest, you know."
And, although he doesn't worry when Katie lets loose on the gossip show, Alex - who was married to the blonde beauty between 2010 and 2012 - has hinted the 37-year-old star's constant remarks about his cross-dressing has tarnished his career as an actor and stopped him landing roles.
He explained: "People don't realise I am a trained actor, unfortunately my salacious past with my ex-partners has not made me a viable commodity to film directors and producers. You're not going to cast me in a film when you've got all this crazy stuff going on around me."
