The 'Uncut Gems' star posted a touching tribute to the 'Descendants' actor - who tragically died last July aged 20 after he suffered a seizure in his sleep due to epilepsy - in a message after the end credits to the comedy horror.

It reads: “In loving memory of CAMERON BOYCE. Gone way too soon and one of the kindest, coolest, funniest, and most talented kids we knew. You live on forever in our hearts and are truly missed every day.”

The pair played father and son Lenny and Keith in the 'Grown Ups' movies.

The '50 First Dates' actor was heartbroken when Cameron passed away as he "loved that kid" so much.

He wrote at the time: “Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around. Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world. Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences."

Meanwhile, following Cameron's passing, his family set up the Cameron Boyce Foundation in his honour to provide "young people artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity".

And in July, a year on from his death, they unveiled the K(no)SUDEPNOW initiative to raise awareness and end Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy.

They wrote: "Today, though our hearts are heavy, we choose to honour the incredible legacy Cameron leaves behind, and our commitment to use our resources to make our world a better place.

"We are so grateful for your love and support, and we will continue onward in our fight to end SUDEP. Please visit KNOWSUDEPNOW.org to learn more about how you can help. Much love, TCBF."
