Adam Levine was traditional in his proposal to Behati Prinsloo, first going to her father for permission.
Asking the Victoria's Secret beauty to wed him back in July 2013, he did it in a way that was "very simple" but exactly what she had wanted.
Speaking to Access Hollywood about the most romantic thing Adam has done for her, she explained: "I think proposing.
"It was very simple, there was nothing crazy. It was the way that I wanted it. He called my dad. It was very nice."
She also revealed that she and Adam spent months getting to know one another via email before meeting in person, but that didn't make their first face-to-face encounter any less "awkward".
"We kind of started talking over email, back and forth for months. I was kind of making fun of him...We talked over email for such a long time and then went to LA and we met for the first time.
"When we met finally, face to face, he was shooting the boxing music video, 'One More Night,' I think it was, so he had gloves on.
"And I walked through the door and was like, 'What am I doing here?' And he had his gloves on and was like, ' This is awkward, hi!'"
