Abbey Clancy suffered “terrifying” hair loss with each of her pregnancies.
The 35-year-old model has four children – Sophia, nine, Liberty, five, Johnny, three and Jack, 22 months – with her husband Peter Crouch and has said every one of her pregnancies left her feeling “so ill”, as well as battling with skin allergies and hair loss.
And Abbey also admitted seeing “clumps of hair fall out” was so “damaging” to her confidence that it made her feel scared about the prospect of losing all her hair.
She said: “'I was so ill during pregnancy, and my skin was so reactive. It was allergic to everything, even fabrics and washing powder. I also had a lot of hair loss.
“It grows back, but when clumps of hair fall out when you're washing it, it's terrifying. I had three kids in four years, so I felt like I had no hair left by the end! It's another thing that was damaging to my confidence. It's scary for any woman going through that.”
Abbey also suffers from pigmentation which can cause discoloured patches of skin on the body and face, and said she first noticed the condition when she was pregnant with her first child, Sophia.
She added: "I've been struggling with pigmentation for about 10 years now - it began when I was pregnant with my first daughter, Sophia.
"It was quite damaging to my self-confidence - I felt I always had to wear make-up to cover it up - so I'm always on the lookout for products that can help combat that."
The blonde beauty went on to address her fashion faux pas, and said she’d love to reshoot her wedding photos without the “Biro-thin eyebrows” that were fashionable when she married football star Peter Crouch in 2011.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "When you're younger you have a lot more confidence - I used to go out wearing luminous orange fake tan and think that was fine.
“And I had Biro-thin eyebrows on my wedding day - it looked like I had drawn them on. I need to put my dress back on and reshoot my wedding day, this time with more acceptable eyebrows!"
