Aaron Carter wants to "be a daddy".
The 30-year-old singer spent two months in rehab in September last year for a drug detox after he was left horrified by his weight loss which had been caused by his drug addiction, and now that he's been on the road to recovery for several months, he has revealed he'd like to start a family.
Posting a picture of himself shirtless on Instagram, the 'I Want Candy' hitmaker also shared some positive words for his future lover, as he wrote: "Keeping my mind body and soul healthy so the person I end up with has a man who has his shit together has been through some shit and understands life & love. Plus I wanna be a daddy (sic)"
It isn't the first time Aaron has spoken about his desire to settle down, as he previously admitted his "goal" was to become a father, and said he had been thinking about adopting.
He said: "I was thinking about adopting. I want kids so bad. My goal is to be a father. I turned 30 and I'm like, 'Alright, my resolution is to have a kid.' But not just a kid. A beautiful woman or man, because we can have kids too. But it has to be [with] the right person."
"So I'm 30 and my dad was popping out kids by the time he was 30 so I better hurry up! But I do really want to have kids."
Meanwhile, Aaron revealed he is feeling "emotionally stable" following his stint in rehab, which saw him overcome his addictions which left him malnourished and dealing with PTSD.
He said: "I'm very healthy, emotionally stable, and a lot more in tune with myself and my feelings. I'm blessed with my health. I'm a healthy man.
"[I've] stopped all of it. Even when I got out of treatment, they had me on certain things, and I stopped all of it. I didn't want to be on anything."
